This video was from a recent Visa run to Vietnam, where I stayed in the capital city of Saigon for a few days.
Its much busier now than I remember, and there are loads more hostess bars too. The beer is insanely cheap at some bars, and a lot of the regular Vietnamese girls were very easy on the eye.
My plan was very simple for this night, eat some Pho and then head to drink beer on Bui Vien street...
A word of warning about some of the regular bars on Bui Vien street. Trip advisor reviews are littered with incidents of bill padding, incorrect change being given and not honouring promo deals.
Be aware of this if you are drinking here and its probably not a good idea to run up a big bar tab, but best to pay for each drink as they come to avoid potential problems.
There seemed to be more hostess bars this time especially down the Crazy Girls end of Bui Vien street. Ladies are available to be barfined (if they like you) but its much more low key than other nearby countries.
